Although 2020 wasn’t too kind to me, or the wedding industry in general, I have been using this time on lockdown to look back on my past weddings, and there have been some good ones! I thought it might be fun to do a series of blog posts looking at some of my favourite venues that I have photographed at.

What better place to start than Alnwick Gardens! Having grown up in Alnwick and living not far from there now, the Gardens are right on my doorstep, but its not just location convenience that reccomends it to me. The Pavillion, with its wooden beams and wall of windows, is a beautiful setting for both ceremony and reception full of natural light (always a plus for photography!). The gardens themselves are extensive and have so many beautiful spots to for your portraits. Having photographed here in both Summer and Winter I can guarantee the gardens look gorgeous all year round!
